Made from slate stone, each coaster has naturally textured edges and subtle variations, so no two are exactly alike. The design is engraved into the surface, creating a permanent design that won’t fade or peel. They’re sturdy, heat-resistant, and absorb condensation without warping or discoloration. Foam pads on the bottom help keep furniture scuff-free, and keep coasters from sliding. Please note that slate struggles with grey-scale engraving. When selecting an image for engraving, we recommend avoiding designs with dramatic gradients or photos as such details do not reproduce well on slate.
